Year End Gloria Music Performance (YEGMP) is a special music performance by Gloria Christian School students. This year\u2019s YEGMP will be held on June 7 and 9, 2023 and for the time being, it will only be attended by elementary school (SD) students. The first day was held at SD Kristen 2. While the second day was held at SD Kristen Gloria 1 and 3, hundreds of students participated in enlivening YEGMP 2023. This YEGMP activity is supported by Yamaha as a form of collaboration in learning the arts of music. Students colossally display what they have learned throughout the academic year in the Music Arts class according to the instruments and materials for each class.<\/p>\n

Grade 1 sings, grade 2 plays keyboard, grade 3 plays piano and grade 4 plays recorder<\/i><\/em>Apart from performances by grades 1-4, YEGMP was also enlivened by special performances to support this activity, such as the performance of the Gloria Children Choir, solo vocals, vocal groups, and collaboration performances in dance arts.<\/p>\n

\"This year is the second YEGMP, after last year we carried it out online via Zoom due to the pandemic. Praise God this year is the first time it has been carried out on site. The response from the students was extraordinary; they were enthusiastic about practicing seriously,\" <\/i><\/em>said Yohanes Arsadewa, as the 2023 YEGMP coach.<\/p>\n

In a relatively short preparation time, the Gloria Christian School music teacher was able to organize this activity well. Future plans for this activity an annual event for each school collaborating with sound, dance and maybe visual arts. See you at YEGMP 2024!
