History of Gloria Christian School
Gloria Christian School began with an awareness of the need for Christian service in the field of education, so a formal educational institution was started by the Abdiel Gloria Christian Church. This awareness is supported by the burden to answer God's call in guiding the younger generation to know God and live according to His will.
1984
The first service to open the new school year was held at the Gloria GKA building on Jl. Girlfriend 9. The first level opened was Kindergarten B and Grade 1 Elementary School, with a total of 36 students and 9 teaching staff. Early school activities used the spaces provided by the Gloria Abdiel Christian Church.
1996
Gloria Christian School was opened in the West Surabaya area, precisely on Jalan Kupang Indah 1 No.3, Surabaya. The Gloria Family Day event was the start of this school.
2002
Praise be to God, in 2002, learning activities for the high school level were moved to a new building on Jl. Raya Sukomannunggal Jaya 25A.
2008
Gloria Christian School expanded to the East Surabaya area, to be precise in the Pakuwon City residential.
